Text objects typically appear as titles of axes objects and as labels. When editing is turned off you'll find the following 3 items on the context menu of a text object:
• | Edit: Turns editing on. To turn it off click anywhere in the figure. |
• | Font: Change the font properties of the text object from a Text Font dialog. |
• | Font Color: Select a new color for the text object from a color picker dialog. |
When editing has been turned on for the text object, you have the following items on the context menu:
• | Undo: Undo any changes to the text. |
• | Cut: Delete selected text. |
• | Copy: Copy selected text to the clipboard. |
• | Paste: Paste text from the clipboard into the text object. |
• | Delete: Basically does the same thing as Cut. |
• | Select All: Select all text in the text object. |
Notice that when editing has been turned on, the context menu is actually provided via the operating system and the clipboard facility is therefore available.
